5946 N. Howard St. Lebanon, IN 46052-8903 The Elizaville Baptist Church was built in December of 1894, the original name was Friendship Baptist Church established in 1893. Later in time some members of the Elizaville Baptist Church broke away and built Grace Baptist Church located in Lebanon. Then the members of Elizaville Baptist Church voted to add a basement to the Church. The basement was successfully built. In the basement there is now a kitchen, dinning hall, and restrooms. In 2003 the Church celebrated its 150th anniversary with an Ice Cream Social. And yes, this is the church that was in the movie "Hoosiers". Click Here for pictures. |
